BMW Click and Drive Windshield Mount Too Loose

Has anyone who has the BMW Click and Drive Windshield Mount for their iPhone experienced, over time (especially on warmer/hotter days) that the ball joints become too loose - and your iPhone does not stay in the same place relative to the windshield (phone rotates too much either clockwise or counterclockwise, or pivots too much up or down)? The iPhone stays in the mount itself, but the portion of the mount that holds the iPhone pivots too much relative to the windshield (which makes me question the accuracy of the numbers being displayed for lateral acceleration, longitudinal acceleration, etc.).

Does anyone know how to tighten up the ball sockets to prevent this from happening? Thanks,
