Thanks guys. The E36 is my track rat. Moderate engine mods (tune, MAF, injectors, exhaust) but MCS SA shocks 550f/650r (worth about half the value of the car). The F80 is my 3rd M car and replaces a 2007 335i sport 6-speed that I owned for 150,000 miles. I owned the E34 M5 for 10 years and sold it with 280,000 miles on it (engine rebuilt in there somewhere). The F80 really reminds me of the M5 as a daily driver - just way faster and with Apple Play. I will say I really miss the sound of the S38.
