I guess I should have clarified. I don't purchase BMW's though the dealerships. Thank god, as have yet to walk into one and not had a bad experience. I purchase them through a broker as part of the factory direct program for military/diplomat overseas personnel.
Here is the email they provided. They state the factory recommended there will be a 2% increase hence the 1600 and they would return any extra that was not used. They had nothing to gain from me choosing a 2015 or 2016. Their allotments do not work like a dealership. It looks like they think it'll only be 400 based on the past. Only time will tell. If you place your order on a 2015 model today we could have delivery to you by the end of July. Production on the 2016 M4 Coupe will start in the first week of July and you are welcome to place your order to reserve one of the very first slots and delivery will take place in late August, early September. I have attached an updated quote for your perusal, as we do not have pricing for the 2016 models yet factory recommend that we place a 2% price uplift on top of the 2015 base price for the 2016 model. Should the pricing not increase by 2% we will automatically honor the lower price, from past experience I foresee the price increase to be no more than $400. |

You may have better options, standard LED's (front and rear) and whatever the LCI may entail. If waiting isn't an issue for you, then wait That's what I would do, anyway. I had an ED travel window of ONLY May or October, and the latter would mean I would get a car back to PA right in the winter season...which truthfully would suck. I had reasons to get a late production 2015, so I didn't wait. Sounds like you have no such limitations.....so wait

I'm dying to find out as well
I have a 2015 that's on a boat right now. By the time it gets here I'll know if I want to wait a few months for a 16 or not

You may decide to retrofit the tail lights (should they turn out super), but I bet you'll be having so much fun in your '15 that there won't be much regret passing through your mind

Well the 3er LCI will be revealed tomorrow; hopefully details emerge about the F80 LCI. I doubt we'll know price increases, etc but perhaps the extent of the changes such as ZCP, idrive, tails, etc.
