Back on the G8X topic, I don’t get the love for the seats either. That weird thing in the middle of the seat looks like a pain (possibly literally) for DD usage. Other than that in the right colors they would look good, but I’m also over CF everywhere on an interior.

totally seats look like ass and I lost my love of CF 5 years ago, probably longer since I worked on the 787 in the early 00s and it was SSSoooooo cool! But then kinda, eh. Well, we have an elbow bump on a 2018 Yaris (WHITE) for 13.5. When we left the parking lot it had 2911 miles. 93yo man surprised his kids when he came home with it, they had The Talk and he realizes he shouldn't drive

minn19 I remember seeing someone posted that the G8x can be built easily above a M4cs MSRP on the website. Just let that sink in by the way. My M3, with full individual, all options minus CCBs came to 90k. The G8x can hit 100k+ just like that. lol.

It's crazy that the M340 is the buy so far for this gen. Why spend that much to get goofy seats, styling and a better 0-60?

If I would to get a BMW right now, aside from the M2, the M340i or the X3 M40i would be it. Maybe even the M240i actually.

If I would point to a simple, everyday car. I'd honestly maybe go for a VW Jetta GLI or Lexus IS atm.

Lol, haven't even found a prise guide for Finland yet but considering peter was 170 k € or so here new... I'm going to need to work on my stock picks more. A helluva lot more

We've had the GLI for a few months now and we love it. I use it for the miles commuting/running the kiddo and her friends to sports etc. It's pretty quick and surprisingly fun to drive. It gets forty miles to gallon, has a nice Beats stereo and I don't care if it is dirty or gets dinged up in the soccer/hockey parking lots.

I never thought I'd buy VW again either. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a pos like our last Jetta. A friend of mine has a four year old GTI with 70k miles on it and he has had zero issues. So maybe........

I mentioned that my first car out of high school was a 04 Jetta GLI. Had that car for 12+ years and had only one thing fail on me, which was the cooling fan in the front. It finally gave away after all those years.

My other car I had wanted was also a Lexus IS 2004 but, went with the Jetta instead.

I do not mind going back to a Jetta GLI especially now that the Jetta GLI and the Golf GTI are very similar in performance instead of just VW piling everything into the Golf instead.

The President hasn't tweeted in 16 hours, has gone to Walter Reed, has cancelled all appointments including phone/video, and has been given an experimental therapeutic, i.e, not approved by the FDA, Regeneron's "polyclonal cocktail". Either:

(1.) He does indeed have mild symptoms, but given he's the President, has asked to push the limits in terms of best treatments, even those not approved by the FDA, and is moving to Walter Reed out of an abundance of caution.

(2.) He's experiencing more than mild symptoms, is trending negative, thus has been taken to Walter Reed and moved into more aggressive treatments, even experimental, as standard treatments haven't been effective.

Either way, feels like we're not getting the full story here ...

Well, that was a day.

I blew it while installing my mom a lamp so I ended up getting an electrician to fix it. I was so sure it was my fuck up but it turns out it was just a switch which was broken. That was fun. As was hauling around all her fucking stuff for the fith day straight. I swear to coffee her moving has increased my workload by gazillion tons, and of course she has a no breakfast, lunch or anything policy. Yesterday, after ten hours there I got magnificently drunk with two glasses of wine, today I'm over compensating with red meat and veggies I've had cooking at home for the whole 10 hours I was there.

Well, now I'm off to eat my breakfast (7 pm) and I have a wonderful 7 am start tomorrow again.
