Week 21/22/23 Builds

True but it was still week 23 and she said "do you want me to try and pull it ahead" my reply "yes" and she came back and said "week 21" and let the wait get shorter.

I'm not sure what is going on. I don't have individual paint, stitching, etc. so I don't understand how people that are week 23-24 are already in production ahead of week 21. Frustrating to say the least.

I was build week 20 then 22 and it just went into production today(week 19).

that's right, mine completes production on 5/23 and started yesterday.

I believe the automated system and site are the same - both lag behind live Genius/dealer info.

jus called bmw genius, (literally because of this post) asked if they could expedite my week 25 build m5.

haha - I don't think they just pull your order ahead for fun. And I'm not sure it would be the genius who would do that. I was delayed for 7 weeks and quickly realized the limited extent to which BMW has empowered Genius to help.

Although your CA may put in a "request", it is not guaranteed. The only one who has the capability is the dearest god.

After seeing many week 21 builds folks go into production last few days, i wish the BMW site would show the production of my car has started everytime I login.

Yes, it has been week 21 since I got the production number in Feb. Nothing changed for 3 months except it shows the correct color of the car.

I keep calling 3 times a dayn and hope tomorrow is the day it hits production. They are running multiple shifts to keep with demand at this time.

I also called 3 times today, but it hasnt had any progress yet.
