I'm saying "bitches" because it's usually a woman who picks up and most of the time they have an attitude problem.

That concrete block is very low, not like your typical one. I think it is only about 4 inches off the ground.

I KNEW you, or somebody was going to say that. Yes, it is true, I keep looking at my damned watch thinking "why isn't it 1pm yet?!?!"

In essence the BMW extended warranties are priced by vehicle class, A through G. The M4 is an F, one class away from the most expensive, and where A class is your run of the mill poor man's BMW (no offence 1 and 2 series owners). They are the ones that get the extended warranty for 3 or 4k, not us.
Ah ok. Thanks for the explanation :-)

In my opinion if you intend to own this car for a handful of years it isn't worth investing in this extended warranty. As for me personally, my intent is to keep the vehicle for 7 to 10 years, depending on its condition and what else is on the market at that time frame. Given that, it is well worth investing in the extended warranty because as everybody knows, BMWs become VERY expensive to repair when they're in high mileage. I simply don't want to take the risk!

Yep. And to add some more information for all you guys out there there are three levels of extended warranty with BMW: Standard, Gold and Platinum. Of course I took platinum which means that my car is completely covered. The warranty I got is also 7 years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first. The price for 7 years or 100,000 miles is a whopping 7.5k. That was a little much.

Hope this helps you guys that need to make this decision...

Can the extended warranty be purchased after you have your vehicle for a year or two? Same price?

I asked about that: it can be purchased after but the price goes up every year

What does the little odometer button above the adaptive suspension button do next to the shifter in a 6mt? I assumed that was the "shift aggressiveness" button in the DCT, but obviously that doesn't make sense now!

Ah, now I understand all our disagreements, you have terrible taste in general! And what's this? Now you have a fancy new camera you don't know how to properly operate, to take pictures of your fancy new car you don't know how to properly drive.

Just bustin' your chops, buddy. Congrats on the new car and the anniversary! Enjoy her (both of them) in good health.

Oh, and add more pics after you take off the shipping blocks, or did you specifically order a 4x4 M4?
