Question Wing too big?

Is the wing on this APEX BMW M4 prepped for the track too big?

IMO that wing is way too big on a street driven car. It's as wide as the fenders making it look silly. If it was a stripped down dedicated track car then I wouldn't care what aero parts was on it because it would serve a track function.

I personally prefer a wide post design for the wing and would get something more low key for the street

Appreciate the comment. I thought it was a bit too big for the road, but the car is mainly used on track I guess so the wing serves a purpose. The color is dope.

Agreed. The car is mainly used on track I think.

Yup, low key for the road is better!

Cool In a Word....Yes

It looks like the ascetics were a driver over functionality.

It looked like in the video you were not going fast enough for it to be useful where it added significant down force to keep you planted. You would of been better served putting someone in the passenger seat.

I get the reasons for putting a bigger wing on the car, but I think it takes away from this car, as it's no Plymouth super-bird, and a smaller wing would make it look better.

My other thought is anything big enough where you can sit under and eat a lunch on, is too big for the car.

Great question man. I’ve often wondered the same? Look, I get we are all different and that’s cool but some folks are just asthetically challenged to say it in a nice way.
