BCX Fall covered bridge tour

BCX (Bucks County Exotics) hosts a regular cars and coffee meet in Doylestown Pa. Every October they do a covered bridge tour through rural Bucks county. This year the date is Sunday October 4th, with a rain date of Sunday October 18th. Further details will be posted shortly with times and meeting location...but wanted to post this on here for anyone who wants to mark their calendars in the southeast PA region. Its always a very cool drive.

The dates, times and meeting spot are officially set. The covered bridge cruise will leave at 9am sharp on October 4th from the Cold Spring Elementary school in Buckingham, PA. The rain date is set for Sunday the 18th. If there is inclement weather I will make sure to post on here no later than 7am on the 4th and indicate that its postponed until the rain date. The tour is approximately 40 miles and will take about 70 to 90 minutes depending on the size of the group.

Might do this one to get out of the house. Bit of a hike for me. Any roads nearby that are fun to drive? Try to make the best use of the trip out there.

Depends on where you are coming from? River Rd (Route 32) in PA is always a fun road but may have to deal with some bicyclists and Sunday drivers from time to time.

There is the New Hope Star diner...but it opens at 8am, so that might be cutting it close. Its sbout 10 mins away from the meeting spot.

I live in Franklin Park, and I'm planning on going on Sunday. Not really planning on stopping for breakfast though, especially with the limited bathrooms on this drive.

Maybe we can roll together.
