KW DDC for F80/F82 owners, please help me out!

KW packaged the wrong 18mm socket (6 point instead of a 12 point, does not have a hex head and does not fit over the supplies 10mm) and it will take about 2-3 weeks to ship me one from Germany. Anyone with these KW DDC plug & play coilovers model# 390 20 039 that have the 18mm socket willing to let me borrow or sell to me? Please DM me, thank you!

It's the tool on the far left, 2nd item down from the top:

Can't you just grab a 12 point socket from Home Depot or AutoZone?

Unfortunately, it's not something I can just grab at Home Depot or Autozone because it's not an ordinary 12 point 18mm socket.

KW has to custom order it and ship it to me from Germany. I got tired of waiting, so I had to do my own work around.

Is this for the top strut mount bolt?

Yeah. That smaller tool to the right goes over the 10mm while the EDC wire goes thru it to the top. Then you place that special 18mm 12pt socket over all of it to tighten the strut nut. On the top end of the 18mm, there's an 18mm (I think, not exactly sure if the size) hex which you use to tighten/torque to spec.

Yeap that is the one.

When I first got my F80 I had a clunking coming from the top of the strut so I ordered this socket from ECS: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...3046sch01a-01/

I got it pretty quick but while waiting the car was still clunking around, I had a 45 degree 12 point wrench which I was able to use to tighten it down while holding the 10mm with a standard wrench. The torque on this is not that high if memory serves me right but you can use this as a quick fix for you https://www.walmart.com/ip/Steel-Vis...-5pc/985123135

Like this? I've done something similar for the strut top mounts on an Audi a while back.

Definitely thought about the schwaben, but I had to worry about the wire. I went this route from amazon instead, but the 10mm tool wouldn't fit inside, so I had to Dremel the side wall until it could fit.
