Carbotech XP12 clunk/rattle?

I just put on some race pads - XP12 front and XP10 rear. When I set off after being stopped, I hear a clunk/rattle.

Anyone else experience anything similar?

The Carbotechs did not have a backing plate so I am wondering if they are just rattling around inside the caliper when the pistons retract. I have 6 piston front and 4 piston rear on my F80 BTW just sharing for context.

That and check the width of the pads... they probably rattle in the calipers. Very common
