Downpipes make different power or same?

I did a search and found some inconclusive posts, but do different downpipes make different power or do they all make more or less the same power/deliver power the same way?

Is the biggest factor just fitment? (expensive vs cheap)

same power without a tune, but it allows you to run stage 2 map which makes more power.

difference between the different downpipe brands is fitment, wields quality, and overall reliability

Ah but one downpipe/brand won't make more "power" than another downpipes? (e.g. VRSF vs Active Auto)

i use to think it made a difference but i think the BM3 OTS stage 1 and stage 2 pretty much make the same

They were asking if one down pipe performs better than another, not the difference between bm3 stg 1/2.

Top quality DPs have a bracket on the long pipe to secure it to the factory downpipe hanger. This helps eliminate vibrations especially when combined with flex sections. Below is an example of Akra:
