4th gear vibration

So I have an 6MT M2C, but since it's the same engine/trans combo maybe someone here has had the same issue. Currently 4th gear there is a strong vibration that is felt through the gear lever while accelerating that the other gears do not have. This vibration runs through the entire rev range so not RPM specific and only in 4th. Any ideas?

Edit additional info: It's enough that it visibility blurs the gear shift numbers on the stick shift. Car has 1500 miles on it.

Sorry for the late update. Dealer tried to infer that 4th is the 1:1 gear (5th is) and that was what the extra vibration was attributed to. While he did mention he could feel it and it did seem odd, he would want to compare it to other 6 speeds as they came into the shop. This was the shop Foreman who went on the drive with me. I could understand if it did every time in 4th it may just be a characteristic or a quirk of my particular car, but it does this 80% of the time and more so when the car is warm, but I digress.

I also have some vibration in 4th gear with my DCT. I have not asked the dealer about this. Assumed it was normal but unclear.

This seems to be extremely common. My DCT in 4th does it as well under decent to heavy acceleration

I picked up a 2016 M4 recently (2 weeks ago) and noticed the same thing in 4th gear under heavy load.

Are you stock or do you have modifications?

My gear shifter (6MT) also vibrates on 4th gear, makes me feel like im driving a 1990 honda accord. well, maybe not that intense but you get the point.

Mine is a '15 and just started doing this after my E85 tune. Also, it's started slipping in 4th. Like you said, vibration happens about 80% (under heavy load). Easy driving, it doesn't do it.

I have no idea if this is related, but, if it helps one of us then why not post it ...

I had a '07 X3 3.0si for about a decade, and the last 2 years I owned it it would vibrate / hesitate in 4th gear.

Just before selling it I replaced all the spark plugs and coil packs, and the car drove as good as new.

(I was fucking KICKING MYSELF for not having done that sooner)

Again, don't know if this helps, but it could be worth having the dealership ensure all your coil packs /plugs are running properly.
