i have two carseats i need to wrestle with so i'm even going for the M3 for when we need take the kids different directions. in shopping i have briefly visited the idea of a used 911 or Cayman and figured we'd just keep the two carseats in our SUV, but i just think i would end up regretting all the functionality i'd be sacrificing going to a 2 seater or 2 + 2ish. it's reassuring seeing a couple of you guys getting out of Carreras and still being very happy with the Ms. i think the m3 is the car i'll be the happiest with for the longest. i'll get a cayman later. interesting hearing about the PDK pausing on upshift… everyone seems to praise it so much and that seems like a really annoying issue. odd.
anyway, good input and hope you keep enjoying the car!
