Cost for rotors and brakes?

Trying to get pads and rotors replaced on all 4 axles.

The parts on FCPEuro total to about $1300, I figured with labor and parts premium it would total to about 2-2.5k.

2 Shops I called quoted me over 3k.

Wanted to know if these were fair prices or I should keep looking.

Thank you

I just did the job here in canada for 2700 dollars cad all in.

granted i have a great relationship with my indie mechanic, they charged me 240 dollars total labor for the job so about 180 usd. Other shops were charging about 250 usd an axle minumum.

So all in i spent about 2k usd for the job.

I was quoted $3K+ by my local BMW dealership and a little less by a BMW specialty shop last Oct. I purchased the parts for $1400 and did the job myself. There are a couple of great videos on Youtube to walk you through it if you're inclined to do it yourself. Any gearhead who has done a brake job can assist you. Honestly, it really isn't that difficult if you don't mind getting your hands (gloves) dirty.
