Dinan CF Cold Air Intake - difficult to install?

Was thinking of buying the Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake and am wondering how difficult it is to install?
I'm pretty handy with basic car stuff: oil/filter changes, brake pads, rotors, calipers, bleeding, spark plugs, etc.
Anyone done this install themselves? Any special tools required?

Easy, just a matter of time, maybe an hour if I remember right.

Here you go - no special tools neeeded and as easy as it gets.
Don’t expect a crazy increase in intake noise.

I have the dinan and I'd suggest you look elsewhere. The maf sensor rubs the carbon strut brace and has unconnected mine several times. It also fits horribly with after market charge pipes.

It fits fine with stock chargepipes but aftermarket twist it so it will hit. I've tried 2 different brands.

I don't have any problems with my Dinan intake. It was super easy to install, maybe 45min - an hour.

Thanks for the feedback. Going to give it a go.
Planned mods are: Dinan CF intake, Dinan intercooler, and Dinan stage 3 tune.
Already have the M performance exhaust, looooove the sound.
Plan on dyno-ing before each step change above. Want to get a sense of what each modification brings to the table on my vehicle.
I know there's quite a bit of back and forth RE: Dinan here, and I don't want to feed the debate. I hold no illusions as to Dinan being "the best". It's simply my choice. I respect that others have or will make different choices.

Just out of curiosity from all the members here that have installed the Cold air intake kit have you guys noticed any performance gains or sound gains at all..from what i have researched and seen it is sooo tiny in any gains that it seems to be not even worth it except for the esthetic look in the engine bay. dont get me wrong ive been modding my cars for decades and have done many cold air intake upgrades, but on the M3//M4 side i have not heard of many gains from this type upgarde...

i recently bought a 2018 M3 CS and it has less then 200miles on it and have already removed the silly Charcoal filter and replaced air filters with K&N ones..i definetly can hear the turbo spool bit more and slight increase in exhaust crackle effect esp that i have the M performance exhaust as well..so for anyone in my case would upgrading to a Cold air intake have any more gains at all..i watched Tommy L garage videos on both air filter upgrade then Dinan and he seems to feel no benefit really..

any inputs on this?

Thanks guys
