Hmm I have 58k miles and haven’t installed a OCC yet. Is it too late or even worth it now?

Oil Catch Can Update (19,500 miles), this is 3,500 miles worth of "catch."

Some oil, mainly water, and lots of rusty, orange sludge. Pic after removal and with liquid drained to see the remaining sludge.

A lot less oil than my prior N54 oil catch can, proves the S55 baffling system is working however, A LOT more condensation and sludge.

End result, I'm happy this isn't going back in my engine intake!

I put a catch can on my Abarth Spider...as the oil seems to just flow to the turbo. I'd say I get about that much in mine after a couple thousand. On that car...definitely helps. Not sure I feel the need on the S55 yet, but do wish I had one on my N54.

Just as a note, I also put one of those stainless steel scrub pads in the can. Creates more surface area to extract oil from the vapor passing through.
