Another Sto and Sho vote here. If you removed it altogether, the hole would never be seen.

I have a CravenSpeed tow hook mount. I like the look and not having to drill any holes

Probably a little more work but I've done the magnet mod, which is really popular over here in the U.K. Basically you glue 2 magnets on the back on your plate and glue 2 magnets behind the front bumper, stays secure on there with no wobbling but when you want it off just pull it off 🤷🏼*♂️.

This. I have it. You can take it off put the tow hook cover back on with the mount still in place.

+1

been using this too no issues, throw the plate on in policed areas that I go to once a week ish and take it off near me where the cops don't give af.

it's also a good option if you like taking pictures of your car, you can run it to avoid tickets and take the plate off for a pic, takes a few secs to take on and off.

Will be going with the Carbonio myself. Seems like a worthy quality unit to put on a M3.

I’ve had the Sto N Sho for 3 years and only installed it using the 3M tape that was provided and it’s held fine. As long as you prep the area it should hold. Best thing about it is if you’re at car meets you can remove your front tags in 2 seconds. Keeps your front bumper clean looking for all those paparazzi.

Garage List
A big deciding factor for a lot of people is bumper placement, too (centered, high/low center, offset left) - I personally like the offset look and love my US Millworks tow-hook mount.

**ECS is more expensive but worth it if you run video
