Hey dude. I've installed several of these MP exhausts on M3/M4. So I'm pretty knowledgable about the whole system. The photo is showing a damaged/stripped screw. It happens often if someone wasn't careful in removing the exhaust. Or the screw couldn't be removed because of heat. It happens. But you can drill out that stripped screw and re-tapp the hole to make new threads. Then simply put a new screw in. If you're not mechanically inclined, have a shop do it. How is the condition of the CF? How is the rest of the exhaust look? That's the most important. The screw isn't a big deal.
Good luck!

re tapping a screw is no biggie at all, shit, they do it on oil pan drain plugs weekly; but since you're questioning it, you've obvi never done it, which is ok. Like he said, have a shop do it

Google a couple vids on "tap and die" so you can see what an easy process it is. that may relieve some of your anxiety. If not, JB weld her on there

you might even get lucky and be able to back that out with an easy-out and impact. then you'll still have the original threads. worth a shot anyway.
