$1000 fine for this.

I don't get it, what you have something like GT350 that comes from the factory over the dba limit?

Of course everyone who bought off road use or track only parts knows what they bought and why, but now they are going to crack down even more its just annoying. A louder exhaust doesn't hurt anyone and it just is a bullshit fine/ticket. The main people they are going after is everyone who shut down the highways the take over meets and those people that rev at/leaving car shows/meets.

it just takes one axxhole to ruin it for everyone else

Valved exhaust would not be illegal in this context and the BAR would not take your car if failed.

95db is pretty damn loud. Louder than an MPE for sure Yes, an officer can write you up and send you to the BAR but I think we’re going to need to see how much the police will enforce this rule on people driving normally and not partaking in an event or sideshow.
Agreed.

Lol yup, we eventually were screwed with smog if you didn't know a place

Here is the owner and car that is in the video. The exhaust is very clearly modified and probably why she was pulled over for it. It does suck that they are cracking down on this though. To me it seems like they're profiling cars that look like "street racers". I hope they crack down on those straight piped motorcycles.

Interesting that he told her that they are on a "federal grant right now and working this beat every weekend and 2 or 3 days of the weekdays". I wonder why he gave that information.

Actually we just got confirmation that it's a only a $200 ticket for the first offense. Nowhere near the $1k that's been said.

I saw the chick and that car at a gender reveal party yesterday. I can see why she got pulled over. I don’t know who was driving. But, as her and her dude pulled in to park, they revved the sh!t out of the car. It was pretty ricey
