You say that, but the reality is that station wagons just don't sell well in North America. People here love SUV's much more, so even if this car did exist it wouldn't be sold here.

Beautiful construct...my F80 is three years old and you have made the profile even better; despite the fact that I do not favor hatchbacks.
Kudos to you! God bless to you...and me for having and F80...I lament getting rid of her for a G80..is something wrong with me?

i know wagons dont sell well in north america but anyone buying an M suv for 100k+ is usually aware of what it is. it would obviously make more sense too if this wagon m3 had awd. it would just be illogical to choose an M varient of x3 or x5 over an awd m3 wagon. i know this is all getting a lil hypothetical but the next gen will prob get an awd system like the f90 m5. a wagon m3 should be an obvious choice for someone that wants a sporty sedan but needs extra space. main thing im getting at here is there is usually quite a difference between an M car buyer vs a regular bmw buyer.

Such a tease this car is.

BMW: I will settle for a 330i Touring and even auto-only, but for the love of God, please give us a RWD wagon here in the States!

Sooo, the F80 back seats are a direct fit on the F31? Or did you have to swap the seat covers?

Thanks!

odd question dont see why they would change the structure of the seats. just extra costs. pretty sure you could always swap M car interiors into non Ms trouble free.

I think this was answered in a different thread. The rear seats are not a direct fit.

The F31 Touring has a different rear seat then the F30/F80 sedan.
So I think my question is valid.
