Programming Spare Key FOB

I bought a used M4 and it came with 2 keys. The owner said it was long time since he used the spare key and the battery was dead. I replaced the battery. I went through the programming steps and the car recognizes the key. Allows it to start but not other functions work. Once I turn the car off, the car does not recognize the key anymore. I have to repeat the programming to get it to start but hat is all I get. No lock or unlock functions.

It also shows up a remembered key in Profile.

I've double wrapped my working key in tinfoil and put it 25 ft away.

Nothing seems to work

Any suggestions?
