Waze issues
I am trying to run the Waze program on my M4 screen and can't seem to figure out why the car does not recognize my phone.
Does anyone have a solution? Do I need to update my system or have the display updated/ I'm at a loss... Thanks in advance

I am not sure if I have CarPlay or not. I am not able to pair my phone with the Bluetooth to see what's on my screen.

Waze
I spoke to someone at BimmerTech and was quoted on Android Auto MMI at a cost of $750 U.S. plus tax etc.
Am I missing something here or is that the only way to get your phone on the head unit in my car? Is there a more reasonable way to see Waze and Google Maps in my car? I know BMWs are expensive but that seems like a double dip in my wallet! Sorry for the rant but hopefully someone here knows a better way.

He’s done all my BMWs and I’m very happy with his services.
