I've never seen anybody do this so I thought I'd give it a shot and see how it looks.
I purchased a REPLICA M Performance engine cover and had a buddy paint it alpine white with red anodized looking letters. Wanted to match the Goldenwrench caps and downstar hardware. Wondering what yall think? Any suggestions? Good and bad comments all welcome! It comes with the territory of trying something out. I'm aware the "MPower" is too close together. I'm having it redone soon but the left side of the cover feels a bit empty though so I might have it redone and something around that area. Tri stripes in 3 shades of red? Original M stripes? Some abstract pinstripe design? Lol. |

Looks good, nice job. What canards do you have installed, I'm looking for a set but what's out there are either way too aggressive or not aggressive enough. I need middle of the road lol.

These are M Performance (replica) engine covers. The orientation is correct however letter font and spacing is off (on mine)

I think that looks great. And even better when installed .
Please update the thread after install. I have CSF intercooler and had troubles fitting the black line oil filter cap due the one coolant line in the way. The oem and Weistec oil filter caps fits but couldn’t get the black line to thread on straight |

I pushed that coolant line in as much as it would allow and lifted the intercooler slightly and I was able to thread it in by hand for the first couple rotations. It rubs against the coolant line with every rotation but fortunately doesn't seem to damage the cap...so I got a T40 or T45 (I forgot the size sorry but it's one of em) and tightened it. Unfortunately I broke the stupid oil filter housing inside the oem cap when I tried to remove it so I have another one coming in a few days and I have to do it again |

Paid around $400 for the cover and then I had someone paint it over white with red lettering. There's no way in hell I'm paying $900 + for an authentic one and paint over it lol. |
