No Regrets at all. Only had the car for 3 months and still getting lots of compliments on the color at gas stations (More on the color itself than the car since a lot of people do not seem to know what an M3 really is). Last one at a boutique hotel valet parking from a very elegant woman in the latest Range rover sport. She looooved the color as she said.
Had another guy on the highway yesterday taking pictures while driving (not very safe). Great color but if you want so stay unnoticed, stay away from it. |

Yep, it gets loads of attention, changes colour constantly I've seen mine in about 4 separate shades all completely different depending on the light conditions.
It's utterly stunning in my opinion and my first blue car. Love it!

Still so torn on this color. After seeing it in person with my wife, we both agreed it was not quite what we expected and a little too light/bright. I do believe that it makes the M a bit more exotic and special. On the other hand, I see Mustangs and Chargers and tons of smaller cars with loud colors now and I wouldn't want to get lumped in with them. Also, from out of nowhere, SO looks good to me all of a sudden after seeing it with the comp pack. Still have at least a year to decide. Will probably just end up with black like so many of my cars have been in the end, but at least this way I will feel the other colors have been given a chance.

Just ordered my YMB F80. I was set on a MG F80 as I always like the mean-ness it gives. However, after seeing a few in person driving around, the color really feels ordinary and kind of mutes the aggressiveness of the car imo. My other choice would have been AW which is the safer choice. Although it shows the aggressive lines more, it felt really bland to me overall. I've always had black/white cars and I figure an aggressive car like the F80 can be ordered with a loud exotic-ish color. With that said my first gut impression of the YMB on silver wheels sitting in a dealer lot in person was that it was too powder baby blue and did not appeal initially to me. After seeing a few more throughout the months driving in different lighting during parts of the day and rolling around and seeing one with black wheels the color grew on me significantly. With so many bright orange porsches and bright blue lambos driving around, I think the F80 can hold its own with a bold color. One thing is for sure, photos do this color zero justice, in person with the way it changes hues and tones is quite amazing for a stock color.

No regrets here either after 3 weeks. Like almost everyone has said before, pictures do 0 justice for this color. It changes so much in person, for the good. After driving off dealer lot I had more thumbs ups and friendly waves than any car I've owned in the first week of ownership. A few people have stopped me as well to talk about how awesome the color is. 😊

Xpel full hood, full bumper, full front fenders, headlights, rocker/sideskirts, & wing mirrors. All of it are tucked so the seams are hidden. Under $2k for all that, including the tints and detailed.
