Well, I am jumping into the Yas club too.

Was very close to getting an AW M4 yesterday but went to dealer and saw Yas Marina Blue in person for the first time and it was much better than I was expecting. Didn't look smurfy at all.

Knew I had to have this color after seeing it and the dealer found me one in CA at a very good price so it looks like I will officially join this club by the end of the month.

Been away with an S4 for abit ...this will be my 6th M3/4...welcome me back boys/gals!

This is mine and I love it, no regrets at all but you are right about the attention it gets as it is just not a colour to blend in when there are so many dull colours on the road.

Never seen the color in person until my delivery day. I wasn't sure what to expect, but once I saw it, holy shit what a beautiful color.

None of these pictures truly reflect how it looks in person, I just love it. No regrets!

agree, very different than Laguna Seca Blue...Yas has pop to it...up close you can really see the metallic in it...different character in sunlight and dark but both settings look good.

I am hoping it doesn't draw too much attention though(wishful thinking?) ...I don't like a lot of attention.

Clean color & very easy to maintain. Yes the color does grab a lot of attention.

I have had my YMB for 6 months now and was expecting to be tired of the color, exactly the opposite has occurred. I love it more now than the day I picked it up and it still gets A LOT of admirers everywhere I go

Yas looks especially impressive in the rain, which we are fortunate to have in ample quantities here in the PNW.

I will not be popular for saying this but IMO it is a color that may get second guessed at some point of ownership.
I know at least one guy who told me he was going to sell his YAS and get another blue color. The guy probably owned the car for a couple of months and already wishing to sell it.
I myself had a blue car once. Loved it at first sight, hated it after a year or so.
It really depends on how many cars you have, how often you drive YAS, and perhaps most important how long you plan on keeping it?
If leasing, get what you want. If buying and keeping it long especially as the DD, I would get a classic color - grey, black, white, silver.
But if you are kind of a fashion guy or just don't care, get what you want. Though OP is not this guy hence the thread.
