Help~question About Bbs Lm-r

Planning to buy the BBS LM-R for my F82 M4.

but there's a huge problem,My plan is the LM-R fit with the CUP 2 tires.

but 19inches wheel with not fit with M4 carbon ceramic brakes.

if i go with the 20inches wheel,265/35/20,sure it will scratch the “wall"

i been asking around. there's a solution, 19 inches wheel adding 5mm spacer. it will fit the cup2 but not sure will it fit the carbon ceramic brakes.

any one have solution or advise?

Not that I have anything to add, but strange the 19's will not fit around the caliper when BMW's own 437M's fit over the ceramics. Are you sure you got your info right?

Contact BBS and they can tell you for certain. They've done so in the past for me. My guess is that it won't work and you'll need to go with the 20" LM-R.

Very few 19" aftermarket wheels will clear the CCB's and even 20" applications in some cases. The OEM 437's will because they are made to do so along with the BBS FI-R, some HRE's as well a few select options by other wheel manufacturers. The CCB will limit the 19" options available which apart from the cost, is the main reason most people that want to purchase aftermarket wheels for the F8X stay with the standard brakes and opt for an aftermarket BBK.

BBS 19” 2pc wheel barrels are too small and will not clear ccb. Spacers will only clear the face of ceramic brakes. I have LMs. Cup2s run fat so go with custom offests (Signature wheels/HRE). If you are stuck on BBS (not a bad thing, they are timeless) call eric@supremepowerparts they are wheel application gurus especially with BBS applications.

If OP wants to run a cup 2, his only options on the LMR (9.5 +23 | 11 +40) would be to run:

245/35/20 (OD-26.8") | 295/30/20 (OD-27")

Although optimal fitment is going to be:

265/30/20 (OD 26.3") | 295/30/20 (OD 27")
