I have no information/source for pricing related data.

Also, I would find it extremely hard to believe somebody even if someone did leak the price because that type of information is hard to get.

I will check again over the weekend to see if I can get some information on when the M3 CS is expected to start production. I am waiting on the M2 CS and personally not interested in the M3 CS. I only posted about the M3 CS because I was told about it's existence a few weeks ago when we were talking about the M2 version.

Not butthurt at all haha. It is just a stupid comparison. Good for you for working for BMW? I do not see why that matters. But sure that's cool.

All I am saying is that the fact that a car that cost 30-40k more to own beats a car that is cheaper is not some crazy failure by BMW. The same way that a Hellcat destroying a base mustang is not shocking either.

Apples to oranges man. Who gives a shit about RWD and less power when it is lighter and better designed (which you pay a premium for).

If that is how we are comparing things, isn't it shocking how this car

beats the GTS. Stupid Porsche. Man, this means they must suck now.

I am being pedantic, but in all seriousness, it is not a fair comparison and you know that. There are plenty of other comparisons out there you could make to bash on the M4CS that are justified. This is not one of them.

Oh, and since you are bring up past posts, let's not forget this one I made back in April.

Honestly, not trying to compete with who spoke about the M3 CS first. I only posted in early October when I was told about the M3 CS and when I was sure and able to see for myself that the car actually existed physically (parts, color, badge etc. ).

I will ask for more information over the weekend and post whatever is safe to post over here. .

Wait what? A car with a $30-40k USD premium to the M4CS beat it in a drag race? Well now, that almost defies the laws of physics. Man, being from Munich you seem to care much more about straight line speed. Sure you are not an American redneck?

TBF here in the UK both are £90k+ cars

I guess he's trying to say he likes BMWs as well, he is not a Porsche fanboi and his criticism was supposed to be constructive.

No, that wasn't my point either. What I am saying is, I didn't totally rule out a special M3 next year (though I did say I thought the chances were low). I just didn't think (and still remain skeptical) it will be a "CS".

Sounds good. Ask for pics of a mule that doesn't have old parts on it while you are it.

well yea i am better sure. since i own an original csl. do you own one? oh no? how sad. *cartman laugh* No seriously i wasnt meant to be a dick but the price between m4 cs and carrera gts are not so different and carrera has less power. but that drag race is called humiliation. i mean there shouldnt be 20 cars length difference in that race.

As a coworker for BMW i find this CS a joke. it really is. its nothing more then marketing POS. you get fancy wheels and -10 kg "weight saving" and better suspension. sure thats nice but not for + 50 k euro. i cant belive people get excited over this.

It will be a CS unless they do some sort of de-badging or re-badging.

Shouldn't be asking for something you already have.

That would be close to $120,000. M4 Gts territory at today's prices (brand new one.)
CS would have to come in way lower in order to sell around here...

Now that blows my mind. Why such similarity in price there?

By your barometer (ie the GTS vs M4 CS drag race), my 4.0s 0-60 time is much better than your M3 CSL's 4.6 and therefor your car is a "joke" and would be "humiliated". Isn't that what you said?

The GTS is more expensive, lighter, and overall the more sport oriented car, of course it's going to perform better. That doesn't make the M4 CS a "joke" anymore than it makes your CSL a "joke".

You have a collector's car for sure, how many miles are on it?

Well it'd be interesting if they use the CFRP door panels for all 4 doors and ditch the center console like the M4CS.

See, to me that would be annoying - the interior changes on the M4 CS seemed to be a bit 1/2 cocked if that makes sense - either go full bore utilitarian (in a genuine effort to reduce weight), or make some visual tweaks to distinguish between the CS and ZCP.

Just my $.02....

Yea I agree. M3 is supposed to be the more practical choice. Get rid of the door pockets and center console storage and you get a car with a confused identity and dare I say inflated price.

Well, it is definitely confirmed. Unlike the M4 CS, it is being build on top of the regular M3 model. The same way E92 M3 GTS and F10 M5 600hp were built. These cars can be identified by the S9MRA option code. Therefore it is not related to the M3 CRT that was leaked back in 2015. That version had it's own model code.
