I’ve used it on my two F chassis’s. Simple to use, basic but that’s what you pay for.

One thing I’ll note, don’t forget to update each section after you make your changes. I mistakenly changed each section without saving after each set of changes. Minor annoyance, but now I know.

Are you using a better one now? Which one does everyone use on there f82 m4?
I don't want to use this one if it's basic, would like a more advance possibly.

Perhaps my idea of basic is inaccurate. I’m comparing it’s limited ability to code simple things, unlike the remote coders who can code Euro MDM, GTS style DCT, EDC...in addition to all that the BimmerCode can do.

Make sure you do it in a start car to not have your car turn off in the middle of coding.

Is it bluetooth or wifi connection? If wifi, just be cautious that it does not end up connecting to one of the networks close by or your own home.

Looks like OP has the Bluetooth version.

I've got the same one. I say go for it, good for customizing front lighting, back lights. ASD off and lots of other cool little personal preference tweaks. Super straight forward on my F83.

It's the blue tooth version , I'm still deciding on using it or not. I am still searching the forums for better alternatives . My car does not automatically lock , roll up windows and other stuff i had on my old 2011 m3. I just want to code simple stuff for now

Will it do roll up windows , auto lock and cold start delete? Right now my key fob does not automatically rolll up windows , lock doors or fold mirrors . I just want to code for the simple features. When I have time I will play with it, but can I accidentally screw something up when coding with Bimmerpost?

bimmercode has a demo mode with all the features it would have in the purchased mode. Play around with that and see. I believe there are backups you can re-store if something goes wrong.

I think you can reach out to the guy who wrote the app and he'll answer any questions.

Honestly, if you're looking for basic features, just go for bimmercode.

If I had time, I'm happy to do it for you but unfortunately pretty swamped these days.

It’s easy to code with Bimmercode. I used it for my car.
