Reset tire pressure indicator keeps coming on

Hi guys -

I had a tire replaced recently and ever since when I turn the car on it asks me to reset the tire pressure monitor. I've tried resetting it multiple times and it keeps asking me to do this. The tires are all inflated to the right pressure.

Any ideas what is going on? It is pretty freaking annoying.

Are you driving after reset? It doesn't work if you just sit stationary.

Are you driving long enough for it to reset? If so, and it's still constantly coming back saying you need to check it, you probably have a bad sensor. Mine won't reset if any one of the tires is too low.

I made sure to drive the car long enough for the reset to finish (until it hit 100%).

Do you see plausible readings of pressure and temperature on each tire after the reset?

Of What I have seen the Tire pressure is not so precise and I recommend you reset it once a month or so!

Yes, I do. Temps and pressure look good after driving around but even so it keeps asking me for a reset every time I start the car.

Raise pressure up past 32 psi then reset tpms. That should do the trick..

This shouldn't be an issue at all, never happened to me.
I'd take it to the dealer for service.

Like I posted above. No need to take it to the dealer. Tire pressure drops when it's cold and will trigger tpms upon installing new tires. Just raise the tire pressure up past 32 psi then reset it. No drama..

if the installer replaced your tpms sensor, it could be a bad sensor. i'd consider taking it back to the installer to see if the sensor is the problem.

Keep in mind there are a few things that will interrupt this process, even if it shows you that resetting was complete 100%. DO NOT use cruise control or turn off traction control when you try to reset TPMS.

Another thing I noticed from experience is before resetting TPMS, first drive the car a bit just so that you get an initial reading of pressure and temp. Then stop and press reset TPMS and continue driving till you hit 100%. Doing that always does the trick for me.

Fixed. Inflated all tires to above 32 PSI and it worked.

Thanks!

Reviving an old post...

I don't see how this is the solution being that the "Tire and Loading Info." - decal on the door sill/jamb -
indicates "33 PSI". So, it should always have been above 32 psi.

Same thing happening here.

It happened all of a sudden though, No flats, No change, No leaks. I stopped to manually check the tire
pressure immediately when it came on. [Edit:] And, all four had the correct and proper pressure - 33psi.

[Edit:] Still happening. TPMS iDrive calibration won't reset past 49%. It gets stuck there and defaults back to
"TPM" error notification.

On top of that I thought for running at the track you can lower or raise your pressure to what you want then do the re-set procedure and all is fine at whatever pressure you choose? Like when guys go to the strip they lower the rear temps way below the recommended to get traction. If you get TPMS errors the car looses speed and power

Did you ever get this figured out? Mine now won’t even reset past zero every time I reset and drive.

Took it into the dealer and they plugged it in. Needed new Front/Right TPM Sensor.

Bought "Huf" O.E. online.

I have brand new aftermarket HUF sensors installed and hasn’t worked. It’s like I’m locked out of trying to reset the car to recognize the sensors.
