right. don't drive blind. you have no idea what you are going to run into/over.

assume he can still see out his windows and out the rear. move off the course and get the car handled properly.

maybe banning too harsh but some kind of punishment. at one point he even did put the wheels off the track. I get you want to try to get back but don't try it blind..

Well, he had 2 options:

1 - Stop, get towed in, lose a bunch of laps, fall out of contention for his class win

2 - Limp it home, hope for the best

What would you do?
