18" wheels in Austin, do you like the ride?

I'm looking to move from the 20" 666m on my 18' comp to an 18" wheel and was wondering if anyone in Austin has a comp with 18s and what your perception is of how they ride compared to the stock 20s.

Wondering also if I could go for a ride possibly too…

I've gotta start DDing my car soon and am hoping for a bit more comfort out of it by switching to 18s.

Just don't know if the difference between 18s and 20s is "worth it"….

Don't have any experiences with 18's but I have a comp with 19's and DD it. The switch from 20's to 19's was a big difference, especially in comfort mode. I'd assume that moving to 18's would provide an even better ride.

Just moved to Austin back in March and the roads around my area are pretty bad but as long as I'm in comfort the ride is pretty good.

Thank you for the insight. That was very helpful.

Huge difference in ride quality, theres more rubber to absorb what the suspension can't.

I moved to 19s and it made a noticeable difference.

Wish the seats had about 3x the bottom cushion thickness now lol.

The harshness of the 20s is something I'll never go back to personally.
