This is rather surprising, given the patent filings by BMW for 7/8 speed transmission gating methods and the 991 and C7 both going to 7 speed manuals.

I hope we get some more clarity about the weight. Under 1500kg is not very clear but I would assume this is EU "Unladen" for a base car. So it's EPS huh, well no surprise here. I just hope it's a bit better than any other BMW EPS in terms of feedback.

I like that DCT and EDC are optional. With efforts spent on evolving a new modern and rev matching MT it's going to be hard to resist trying it out and I'll have passive suspension, thank you.

Not sure what the power curve picture actually means without RPM's. Does that mean it plateau's early and won't be exciting all the way to redline, or just that the redline is lower than the s65?

Per BMW US website: E92 M3 unladen weight 3704.

So the M4 should come in at about 3,500 lbs on the US site.

I see what they did to get the 3,300 figure. Many owners have weighed their E92's at about 3,500 lbs. So if it has reduced by 80 kg or 196 lbs, then 3,300 lbs makes sense.
