Who smiled this morning after last night's G8x

After seeing the leaked photos last night, I honestly woke up this morning, looked at my F82 and smiled that we will be together a bit longer.. anyone else felt the same..

It's just a shame. The whole car looks perfect other than the grill. Engine is way better than S55. No crank hub BS.

We don't know if it also have crank hub issue, it not even out yet. Give it a few month and it will be the same mess.

I smiled because I still love my F80 M3 AND I think the G8x looks great and I’m glad there’s a bright future for M3s and M4s which I will be upgrading to in about 2-3 yrs.

Maybe some long termers can answer this, but did the crank hub issue expose itself very early on on the F8X platform? It doesn't seem like the X3M/X4M have been out long enough, or have been modded extensively enough, to know if it has gremlins.

I wouldn't put it past BMW to engineer in stupidity...just about every generation of M car has had at least one big issue that's shitty about it.
