Lockable as in you can lock in the programing for 60 days east coast, 90 days west coast. if your car comes in after that time frame you can not take advantage of the locked in programing. You have to take delivery of the car in the time frame

Pull ahead
Does the pull ahead work for extending the lease a few months? If I order car and need to extend the lease by a month or two, can I get those payments covered?

I believe they will only cover the payments up to whatever the offer is (usually 6 months it seems). So if you somehow had to wait longer than that, they'd expect you to pay.

As a side note, there is no current national pull ahead program, just the continuation of the discretionary pull ahead, which is done on a case by case basis.

My 335 lease is up in October which means I have 7 months left. I am pretty certain I want to get into an M3. I can afford the car comfortably, and I am passionate about cars in general, but I am also pretty conservative when it comes to budgeting for my passion. Therefore as I planned my M3 lease, I've been tracking lease residuals and incentives to try and lower my payment the best as possible. So for instance, I always make sure I have my UDE credit, BMW CCA rebate, and max out MSDs. Combined this with the current incentives ($1,500 lease cash) and $1,000 loyalty, I'm able to get the payments to a place that makes me "feel" like I'm not being wasteful (I've assumed $1,500 over invoice before incentives which I think is doable here in the NE). Clearly the above is only possible if I stay with a 2016 model as the early 2017s will be missing one or more of the above credits. So here's the problem - my lease has 7 more months but I still feel like I am in a time crunch (or getting there) given the current incentives. I'm trying to figure out the best time to start contacting dealerships. I've been hoping for the BMW 6 month pull ahead so that assuming 2 months to produce and deliver the car, I'd be within the 6 month window. I keep reading about this discretionary 6 month pull ahead so it sounds like I can start my search now but I'm concerned that not all dealerships will do the discretionary 6 month pull ahead or if they do it, they will try to bury money elsewhere to make up some difference. Clearly the BMW national program would be much better in this regard. I don't want to start my search too early but I'm concerned that if BMW doesn't come out with a national program, then I will be forced to get a 2017 without all the incentives. In addition, I'd love to have the car during the nicer summer months rather than having to slap winter tires on soon after getting the car. So do I start sending out emails now or when do you think the right time is given the above? BTW, I've thought about lease trader for my current car, but realistically with 40k miles, I'm not sure it would be competitive price-wise. Also, I don't want to be without a car for 2 months. |

hey guys this is for an m5... hopefully a lease guru can help
Here is break down via the statement a dealer sent me. Term- 24 base payment- 1544.67 total payment- 1637.35 purchase op- 68604.65 disposition fee- 350 cash required on delivery- 1709.84 first month payment- 1637.35 Here is the 36 Term- 36 base payment-1208.31 total payment-1280.81 purchase op- 62640.95 disposition fee-350.00 first month payment- 1280.81 security deposits-9100 total inception fees- 10453.30 (also the total cash required on delivery) Are these numbers good, bad, fair, do they suck? I'm totally new to this leasing thing. Ideally i'd like my payments to stay under 1200 a month. 0 down. Is this possible? I also understand dealers are trying to dump m5's/m6's right now, so i feel like i could negotiate on msrp? |

Read the Leasing 101 sticky in this forum. It covers everything you need to be asking for from the dealer so it's not murky what they're doing with the numbers. And yes - it should be very easy right now to negotiate a ton of money off MSRP on an M5 given the lifecycle. |

acquisition fee already rolled into lease. only thing up in the air he said is what florida would charge to register plates.
he said "no mf is set and thats what the multiple deposit lowers" which is why the payments are lower. |

I also had a separate question... Do you think the .9 financing will be extended past March? I wasn't going to order until the end of April, but am considering moving that up to take advantage of the rate and going the Select route. Is the 37% residual for top tier currently good, or should we expect that to go up here as we get closer to the 2017 year production? Thanks! |

Also I would absolutely bet they are raising the MF above the buy rate. |

as far as rates in the future go there is no way anyone would know that unfortunately since programing changes month to month based off a wide variety of variables. I would assume that when the 2017 roll out there will be strong programing on 16 models to help clear 16 inventory but thats not a guarantee. We will just have to wait and see. I would suggest you lock in each time to guarantee you get the best programming available for you during your pick up time.
