Individual Fire Orange III vs. II and “I”?

Looking at ordering an M4 and was wanting individual color Fire Orange. The dealer said that only Fire Orange III is available for individual 2019 builds. Anyone got that color yet? I'm just wondering how the shading is different from the Fire Orange and Fire Orange II. Thanks in advance.

Usually when they issue a new color "number" like that, it's because they couldn't formulate the old one any longer for whatever reason. It usually looks pretty close, I think.

From what I understand, I or II or II are all the same colors. The only differences are the manufacturing methods used. The end result is the same. Don't quote me on that but that's what I was told..

When BMW changed from Sakhir Orange to Sakhir Orange II the reason given at the time was that they switched to a different supplier. Identical paint, but from two different sources.
