Need advice on mods!

Hey guys, I recently just purchased a 2016 BMW M4 in Silverstone! I just got a stage 1 bm3 tune and did a secondary cat delete! Car sounds pretty damn sick but I really want those super-aggressive, loud, roaring upshifts I hear so many m3/m4's have! Any advice on what i should do?

If you want to have a classic i-6 sound, equalize the pipe length between the passenger and drivers side before they merge into an H-pipe or X-pipe. Otherwise, it all sounds the exact same variation of the same old S55 sound where it just sound loud, no change in pitch, and sounds like a 6cyl truck.

No, it’s a pipe dream. Secondary cat delete and open bales should be pretty aggressive as is.

Catless downpipes, secondary cat delete and kept the stock resonator and stock muffler. Sounds pretty aggressive in Sport + mode.

Downpipes with 3" straight pipes if you want an aggressive sound. It will be loud.

Here is mine, its a work in progress but progress nonetheless. Equalized the front and rear bank pipes, merged them, and ran it into the stock muffler (stock downpipes/mid pipes too). Changes that S55 sound, I used an H-pipe (vs an X-pipe, and X-pipe is coming up next since this is my 1st version.

Here is a member who equalized the pipes and then merged them with an X-pipe into an aftermarket muffler, getting ride of the characteristic S55 sound completely

and then here is another member who is catless downpipes, stock mid pipes, equalized front/rear bank piping, and merged them into an H-pipe into a stock muffler (this one has before/after videos of unequal and equal length pipes).

It'll take custom work as no vendor offers this, hence why all exhaust systems for the S55 sound nearly identical in the sound characteristic. The three above all are a work in progress since again it's custom. They may no be as loud as you need them to be though, but just to give you an option if you wanted to completely change the sound of the exhaust.

Decatted downpipe sounds like a really really loud lawn mower. Scratch that - the lawnmower sounds better

Any pictures of the equalized front end of the system.? Sounds great!!
