Michelin All Season for DD?

Picked up my '16 F80 from the dealer today after some services and found out my two front tires have some inside tread separation.

It'll be my first set after buying my car back in Jan and I was wondering what most people who daily theirs prefer. I don't track my car but do drive it spiritedly.

I was looking at either the ever popular Michelin PS4S but since it's coming into winter I was also considering the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4.

Has any daily driver people run all seasons and how do you like them?

If you need to drive in cold weather, DWS06 Plus or PSAS4.

I run PAS4s as my daily tire - really great DD tire, you really don’t need any more grip than they give you on the street. I even tracked them on a cold wet day and they had higher limits than I expected. Steering feel is surprisingly good for an all season and ride comfort is great.

Having said that, if I was back in the Bay I would just run PS4S or Goodyear SC year round.

I've had both - DWS06 are better in snow but like a 7/10 performance handling, they're good, but PSAS4 are better handling and sporty tires and make you forget you're not on summer tires a lot of the time. I'd say 8.5/10 if PS4S are 10/10

it depends on how winter is where you live. if you're going to be driving in light snow somewhat frequently, DWS06. if you're just driving in the cold and likely wont see much snow, PSAS4.

I ended up never putting my summer set on the past 2 summers, and ran my "cold weather" set for the last 2 years / 10k miles. I have the last gen PS AS3+ on 18" Apex SM-10s. I am super happy with them. For even spirited driving they hold up really well, but their limits are clear when you really push it. But for DD mode no issues. Consistent grip in all temps. Wearing really nicely too. I got a set of PS4S to put on my 437s end of last summer, and never got them mounted. and this summer is basically over and I never got around to it either.

I have the DWS06 on my e38, and they are not as grippy and mushy sidewalls, but just a little better in snow. (I have never taken the f80 in any snow so I cant say how much worse the AS3/4 would be ) But that is the expected trade off between the 2.

Another vote for PSAS4. I have run them rear round on my AMG SL63 and just added them all around on my new to me M3 comp!
