MDM is less intrusive compared to DSC on but it definitely cuts power when it senses too much slip. Throttle is still the main driver of the yo-yo but power cut could also be contributing a bit.

Am I the only one doing sport + plus everything + traction fully off? Sport + on uphills was making the traction control go off and making the car jerk a lot so I just turned it off instead. No issues since

I just do a quick tap of the throttle to take off, then apply more throttle after I'm moving. This only happens in spot+ for me, any other mode and I can take off normally.

I'm the same way it got frustrated at first and only take 30 minutes to drive around to figure out how it behaves, so you have to drive it like a manual, shift out of fist gear before 3000 rpm when driving normally. For my liking sports plus and s3 all the times, all though I gave up on auto d2 and d3 completely lol

jerking

So I had 9 hard launches on my autocross on Saturday but unfortunately it was raining all day.
I must say that I used my Sport settings (middle) on all controls (steering , shocks and dynamics).
The car did fine with no jerking what so ever in this mode.I have never used launch control.

Same, all my CS does is lose traction when I give it a good amount of gas in 2nd gear.

I'm wondering if anyone had this issue. This is 2018 F80 M3CS. See video below. Sometimes I get this very heavy jerking issue. This doesn't happen because of shifting. It happens sporadically and is mostly noticeable in Sport Plus mode. When I down shift from 4 into third or from 3 into second and then get on gas, sometimes I get this. When it happens, I have to get completely off the gas and then get back on. BMW says, this is normal and it's because of traction control. However, the same issue will occur with the traction control turned off completely, so I know they just want to get out of fixing the car. I can also just be in second for example, slow down and then get on gas and it happens. Not all the time but sometimes. The video shows this issue with traction control on but as mentioned it also happens with traction control completely off.

do you see you are running 5 K rev iin that gear?
as someone told you , the car need more gass in that high rev, or shift up if you dont want to press the gas pedal.

dont shift at 5k rev in flander mode

Stop driving like an automatic. This is a manual with two pedals. You need to feel the clutch completely engage before giving more throttle. There is no torque converter to do this for you.

Guys do understand that sport+ is really for the track. You can't push the boundaries of Sport+ on the road.
