Can I do another track day with these tires?

These are Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2s that were on the car when I bought it used. They don't have a ton of life left and I do plan on changing them after the track day next week, but wondering if anybody had more experienced thoughts on their condition. The pictures are of the right front but the track is definitely harder on the left front.

Can you, yes, should you, probably not...if you are going to swap them just do it...80k car, no reason to cheap out on a 1% piece

I would also double check the DOT manufacture date on them to make sure they aren't too old. If you will be taking it relatively easy, it's probably ok. But if you will be tempted to drive it pretty hard, I would recommend new tires.

OP, when tires start to chunk tread like that I would not track them.
For me it shows the tires are not very elastic and are over cooked.

Thanks for the replies. Turns out it doesn't matter; that same tire got punctured during autocross this weekend.

All's well that ends well or something like that.

Any pics from the autocrossing?

You running some spicy tire pressures with low camber? Looks similar to what I had on PS4S and Super Sports before. Not sure if Hankooks act the same.

My first track day was done before I had camber plates so it was just stock camber. The pressure did get pretty high during a session too before I lowered it. I definitely needed to be more cognizant of how quickly the pressures rise. I'm switching over to PS4S now and 10mm wider in both front and rear and looking forward to my next/last track day of the season.

The camber plates will help prevent the outside shoulder from rolling over like that. Try to keep pressures under 36 hot. That's been the magic number for most of the tires I've used.
