Multiple White M4's identical spec. Ex-driving experience cars?
While I was driving past my local stealership last week I noticed two identical pre lci M4s for sale. After looking online I saw that they also had very similar mileage and the number plates were only a few letters apart.
It reminded me of this thread I saw a while ago where BMW were feeding in ex track day/driving experience cars into the market: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/...&t=1553310&i=0 Taking a look online again today I noticed there are a lot of very similar white, identical low spec M4s all of a similar mileage. If they do sell those cars on again (which I believe they do) and not tell prospective buyers I would be annoyed and find that pretty poor from BMW UK. What do you think? My personal hunch is that these are ex MSV or palmer sport M4s used on the track. I've done one of the experiences, was very fun...but I wouldn't want to end up buying that car myself! Yep, you can pretty much guarantee they're straight from Oulton Park or similar. One guy bought one and wondered why, every time he washed it, a number appeared on the rear side window. haha. oops. Now you'll notice they have black film over the rear windows, under the numbers, to prevent this happening in the future.

Most of us aspire to own an m car one day, I would be furious if I bought one, these are hardly ex demos after all! At least this can be a warning to all the forum members, thanks for posting! |

Totally agree, its a real shame that they are doing this. Hopefully prospective buyers might come across this but in reality BMW are going to have no problem selling all those as the people coming to view the car just aren't going to have any idea that they'll have such a history. Shame really, as I can't imagine the dealer telling them its been ragged round a track since day 1. |

IIRC last time it was spotted they all came off the AUC site, it's poor form to sell these cars without a disclaimer or a bloody big discount.
Porsche do the same though their PEC cars go into the network.
