WRAPPED F8X OWNERS - durability of wrap?

Hey guys,

I currently have a 3M Atomic Teal wrapped F80 (been roughly 5 months) and it seems that it's lifting everywhere, most notably the bumpers and now the side skirt area. I wanted to gauge your guys' experience with wraps and the durability of them. It's worth mentioning I garage my car.

How do you wash your car? Wraps do not like auto car washes, pressure washing, and the like.

Mines been wrapped since February 2016 and no signs of lifting except the inside of driver side door handle. I run mine through car washes all the time too. The shop that installed your wrap probably just didn't clean the edges enough and/or over stretched the vinyl during install. You should check to see if they have a warranty.

He is talking vinyl wrap

Back when we used to wrap cars, post care was the biggest issue. Water is not your friend, especially in the first couple of weeks.

If you can trim it away, do that.
If its in the creases of the bumper, and in complex parts, it may have been overstretched/overheated. That would need to come off and get replaced.
