Interior Door Panel Repair

First off, I'm an idiot. I let the wife try to put a large dog cage in the back seat of my M3 - resulting in torn vinyl on the driver side rear interior door panel.

Does anyone have suggestions in repairing? It looks like the door panel is $1400 and on backorder. Based on the damage, I think a replacement might be the only option. Thanks in advance!

What color? Try salvage lots

Sahkir Orange. Yea, I guess I can do that. Doubt there's a lot to choose from up here in DC.
