You have one year to book. And the day you take it could be even later. I called the number on the email and they have the schedule for next year too.

Are you talking about this https://mtrackdays.bmwusa.com/ That's completely different from what this car control school is. The BMW track days anybody could sign up for, no hotel is given. The car control school requires an email invite.

Yup, got it mixed up with the M Track Day which my wife and I are doing at Thermal on Wednesday, 9/21 and lodging is not included. We did the the 2-day M School at the Performance Center East last October and lodging is included.

Never hurts to ask. My offer link expired but the offer itself did not and they reactivated it after I called and requested. They even sweetened the offer.

I wonder if they would just "give you" a deal on one for asking. I have M school in 2 weeks and would love a deal.

They didn't for me and I asked twice, both times when I leased my M cars.

I did get a great deal through my local BMWCCA chapter though.

If you're not a BMW CCA member, you can join for $48/yr. and save 15% on the cost of the M School which would more than pay for itself. Maintain your membership and you get a $500 rebate on the next M3/M4 that you buy, which would pay for membership for 10 years. If you decide to join, use my membership number as a referral: 444697.

I already got my $500 rebate back from my current car that I don't even have yet, but thanks. They told me earlier this year when I asked that I could get 20% discount for picking up an M car. We'll see if that works when I get there.

I just got my email this morning and I picked up my car in June but mine is very specific in saying it's a free course.

It's offered if you've used BMW Financial Services (2nd BMW within a year from them) because my email says,
Quote:
And now there are more reasons than ever to get on the track and see what you can do. Because you are such a loyal BMW customer, we invite you to enjoy a one day car control school free of charge. We’ll also include a complimentary 2-night hotel stay as a thank you for being a BMW Financial Services contract holder.1 (Terms and Conditions apply.)

Thanks! I am also using BMW financial services but leasing and this is my fourth BMW ... guess there must be some complex algo that determines eligibility ...

yep, same here. ED pick up in June, delivered in August. Interesting about the terms:

Offer is only available to current, original owners of a new BMW, who have also previously owned 5 or more “New” or “Certified Pre-Owned” BMWs. Offer valid for one year after delivery date of your new BMW. Classes may be taken later, but must be booked before the 12 month window ends. Offer applies to a “one-day car control school” class. Approximate market value ($775) subject to change without prior notice. Value may be applied to any other BMW Performance Driving School class. A two-night, double occupancy accommodation at a BMW recommended hotel is included with this offer. Based upon availability, we will reserve a non-smoking room with a king-size bed, unless otherwise notified by your Client Advisor. Current BMW Financial Services contract required for accommodation. Excludes airfare, incidental costs, meals and additional charges. Offer is non-transferable.

This is my second BMW and the first one I financed through my credit union. Anyhow, no complaints here. Now to figure out if I want to spend the extra on the performance school or not. I know you guys will say "yes" but we've run into a bunch of bad luck this year (multiple plumbing issues, water damage, other cars breaking) and we're still trying to recover financially.

You better get a hold of your SA, ask them for it and I'm sure they will budge since it's just the Car Control School. I tried to ask mine about a free ///M School since I was buying an ///M and he just gave me an awkward look.
