Won't, they make adaptor fitting though. I have a tial and HKS and the tial should fit. Once my kit comes in and back from powder coating I'll make a video of the tial. I may buy the adaptor for the HKS; maybe..

Nice, I wonder if those would be louder than the turbos smart?

Can't really tell yet if I like it or not. I will wait tell after my Saturday canyon run to see where I stand.

Not every time no

It's at 3k+ rpm and you have to be pressing the gas pedal down like 90-100% before you release it to hear the BOV
So I notice something today on my way home, the valves does goes off all the time as long as you go 80% throttle. Todd can you give this a try and see if I am right. Thanks

It would be great if Burger gave us the ability to play with the voltage levels that cause the valve to open. The little black box is the brain, maybe in future releases they can add adjustability. In reality it's not needed but for us ricers that like the pshhhhhh, it could be fun.

My pipe is headed to a local powder coating shop, should be able to test the tial valve soon. Getting the rest of the kit (solenoid) installed this week.

I know right, I even reached out to Extreme Power House and they didn't have any directions either.

You mean as you press the throttle and pass 80% it stays open as your going?

No mine will only open if your going 3k+ RPM usually around 100% throttle and let go of the pedal.

BUT what I did notice is that once your on the throttle 100% and you slowly let off of the gas pedal the valve will stay open the whole time as your letting go slowly. I'm sure this will cause some boost leak so heads up on that.

If I ever get one of these I will write up work instructions for the vendors because they are lazy bastards. I do technical writing all day anyways.

If you could take a few pictures of teh product for me so I can see the fitment and mating parts, I'll start doing some engineering research on what our options are. I'm guessing its also a eltro-mechanical valve so we wont be able to use the TIAL option as that is pneumatic?

There isn't much to the system, it's just a universe blow off valve being control by an air solenoid, which is being control by a little box that use throttle input on when to vent.

Basically the kit uses a 3 port boost controller solenoid to route negative pressure into the BOV allowing the boost pressure to open the port. Normally positive pressure would keep the BOV closed but since there is no vacuum lines to tap into the BOV runs off the solenoid.

The solenoid is controlled by the voltage control box (little black box in the pics) and based off a certain amount of voltage the solenoid fires and the BOV opens. As mentions above it must have a range it triggers in which is why at 80% throttle someone mention the valve opens. After thinking this through there must be logic that says once voltage drops after a a specified target is reached it fires the solenoid. So if you can adjust this setting it at a 50% target would mean once that voltage is reached and drops you could activate it at lower pressures.

In the end this was made for one reason and that was to dump boost at WOT. I am sure a program could be written that would allow for bov activation under 80% but the stock system is efficient enough to where you don't need it other than the wicked sound those of us who bought the kit love.

And to all those how call it rice, you know your asses break neck when a BOV pops off and you instantly go from six to noon. #longlivefastandfurious

Looks like it is adjustable, who wants to be the first one to play with it

This thing is no where near water resistant. Hide it well, I may silicon seal it since it sits under the hood.

Haha sweet, It does look like it's at 80%. I might just put it at 50% . Thanks

Update, so I want ahead and move the arrow to the middle, so far it's the prefect setting, now venting is between 2-3k rpms at 50% throttle .

Sick, going to adjust mine can't wait for the powder coasters to finish my pipe so I can slap it on. I wired everything up already so it's just the pipe.

Are you tuned with BM3 by chance?

I am tuned with dinan stage 2, just got back from my canyon drive and I am happy to say it's a lot of fun at 50 % throttle :.
