Are the benefits worth it for the risk of water ingestion? Looks pretty cool gotta say. Think I first saw this kind of setup on 350Z/G35s.

Based on what I’ve heard from others and read, the rain isn’t an issue with front mount intakes as people would think.

These specific cone filters feel very tight knit and good quality when I installed them.

I don’t plan to drive through any waist-high floods, though I did back in August 2021 😅 car was fine (I had stock air boxes)

Update: I made a new video reviewing these Project Gamma front mount intakes on my daily driven M4.

No issues in the 12 months. Seen rain, snow, dust, long drives. All good.
