I'm curious why Maserati has been so quiet with lending this car to the press. At first I thought the styling was a bit clinical, however I've really warmed up to it. Beautiful car.

The MC12 is a very hard act to follow. That car's design was something else.

$200k+ for a v6tt is a tough sell for me. i'd probably go with a huracan instead.

it will probably sell well though because alot of people just buy on looks and having the hot new thing in town.

That's a proper good looking car! Not cuts and creases and flip ups and generally shitty angles and ad dons, just sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. See, it can be fucking done.

I'd be curious how many of these they'll actually sell. When this was first announced I was thinking it would be a 125-150k car. But it starts at 210k and after looking around online for option pricing, I bet most of them come in around 250-275k. I just don't see many people wanting to drop that kind of money on a Maserati.

Something else I've noticed.... Why are actual Stats not being released?
0-60
1/4
Top?

I mean for that kind of bread and hp, it had better be 3sec or under and mid 10s and 200mph.
Otherwise... It's simply another addition to a wealthy garage.

Sold out. Taking orders for next cycle.

Performance stats on the car are readily available.
2.9...meaning 2.6ish
202 top, I believe.

I "may" have one cornered. If they start flinching higher and or "we have a line of people" I have a next run spot that I will parachute on. If ordering is my only option I will get Verde metallic. Not paying a you must but be high market adjustment. Period.

Hard to find the value here over a 992 turbo S, 458/488, GT3, etc at similar price point. I like it though.

That's to be expected though. They're probably only going to make a few hundred of them at most on the first year run. They may even keep allocations tight for the entire run of the car to keep "exclusivity".

Did you try to compare it with McLaren Artura?

I'm a Porsche fan, obviously, and you are right the 992 Turbo S is staggering. But, it looks like every other 911. This will be very unique and likely more fragile than the Porsche but more unique. I guess that will matter to those who want one.

I agree but I think potential customers in this space already own one if not several supercars. This car definitely has its own unique redeeming qualities and a prestigious name to go with it (unlike say Acura with its NSX debacle).

I'd take one over a 911 TS every day of the week, at least it is a bit unique. Actually i might go as far as saying it's the best looking car available today.

McLaren Artura is better and it’s not even close tbh. That is if you are ready to spend close to 300k on a V6 hybrid.
