Custom Satin Dark Titanium Richland Forged GT-4 (763M style) wheels installed!
First off I want to thank Lyle from Richland Forged, a great experience with exceptional customer service. Everything from the order process, communication, and even shipping were top notch.
My custom ordered set was done in Satin Dark Titanium, which turned out amazing, very similar to the Orbit Gray OEM CS wheels. I also had RF remove the "forged" logo on the lip to give it an even more OEM look. My build time was approximately 5 weeks and was delivered within the time frame promised. The wheels spec I ordered were 20x9.5 Front with a +22 offset, Rear was 20x10.5 +35 and the fitment was perfect for the F8x. Very flush to the fenders with zero rubbings. Tire choice was Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 275/30/20 and 295/30/20. These wheels are 6061-T6 Forged and they are both wider and lighter than my stock 666M wheels, my installer (Wheel Concepts in Camarillo, CA) who deals with wheel repair/refinish for high-end wheels and vehicles commented that these were very high-quality wheels with a great finish. I always try to shoot for an OEM+ look and these were exactly what I wanted. Not only are they lighter than my 666M wheels but they are wider as well, more concavity compared to the 763M and more aggressive offsets so no more spacers needed. Win on all fronts. On with the pics. Last edited by DanMpower; 02-10-2020 at 02:04 AM.. |

Thanks for posting your feedback / review and the pictures! I've been keeping an eye on these as an OEM+ wheel option and having positive customer feedback is reassuring. Hoping to order a set soon.

I've been seriously considering a set of these, but the website doesn't have any optional custom finishes listed and no phone numbers for direct contact. How do you reach them to discuss options? Maybe I am just not looking in the right spot. I'm not the type of person to just send off $2500-$3000 without a little discussion of what I want.

Coincidence or not, good pick on wheel specs as they're the same as my BBS FI-Rs. 10.5" with 295/30 gives it a factory square looking sidewall profile compared to 11".
And thanks for posting up the pic showing the massive difference in width going from 285 to 295 (PS4S 20" 295s are even wider than their 19" 305s). Less nuanced folks simply think that adding spacers on factory wheels is job done due to the flush to fender look. Too soon, jr. What's lacking is that the rear wheels from varying views, particularly the arse shot and esp so in motion, look markedly narrower than even sans spacers as you're physically pushing them further apart from each other (think Tesla and i8/i3). This completely defeats the original intent of spacers which is to visually enhance the look of the car (oh, the irony). Nothing beats a well-fitted set of quality wheels from a reputable brand. Anyways, /rant. Thanks, again.

If you email/pm them they'll give you a bimmerpost discount which makes the setup in 20" roughly $2500 + shipping. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1660921 |
