I want ventilated seats so bad! Seems like a no brainer for the vert and I bet they would sell really well

Finally got the letter for the trunk retrofit. Parts take about two weeks to come in.

This thread is making me want to throw practicality to the wind and get an F83... especially in MG. My toddlers can just take the bus, right?

Lol, even I want one for one day of the year, but M3 is way better for the school run mobile use.

Condoms. They should've told us about those Biorin.

School, shmool - was just hoping they could take public transportation.

Condoms... are those the things you put on the banana and leave on your nightstand while you make sweet sweet love?
Banging without condoms or getting an M4 convertible, debate of the century.

Yup, it's clear why I dream about an M3 and why you need to stop reading this thread.

I support public transportation but man, have you seen the school busses? If you can't find a relative to dump them to, you're stuck. If it's any consolation, you too can train a cop to escort you weekly out of the school zone to make your image glow.

That's my contribution to this thread: I appreciate the unique qualities of the F83 that support safe sex.

The cop thing sounds intriguing, how do you achieve that? Run a few people over every now and then?

Spent practically the whole summer driving with the top down, we've had incredible weather in the Northwest. Hell, some days on the way into work, 5am, top down on the freeway, I'm sure people thought I was batshit crazy but the car is awesome and I smile everytime I get in it. F80, F82, F83, something for everyone, but your missing out if you haven't gone topless in an F83.

Not at all is very relaxing with a coffee. My last convertible was a 650 which I sold for a M5, and I wanted another convertible. The M6 is just too long, and the M4 is perfect good choice and it's quiet with the hard top.

Congrats on a beautiful Triple Black - one of the best convertible color combos. Of course with a hard top the color matches body paint so it might just be a Double Black. Either way stunning.

I can still count the number of times I've driven with the top up on one hand since taking delivery in May.

Sun treated seats

Is there a way to describe how well the sun reflective seats work? In my last cab, 911 4s, the seats would get super hot in the sun. Sitting in them in shorts would be like sitting down in a frying pan.

I live in the DC metro area and it get's pretty hot around here in the summer.

Wife has a Lexus SC430 convertible with black interior, compared to the F83, seats get very hot, the F83 will get warm but not hot like the Lexus

Truth. I'm still riding with top down during the daytime.

Since the subject is celebrating it's uniqueness, one of the things that's cool about driving the F83 is that so many people that don't know the BMW brand well enough to know what they're looking at seem to just love it. They pull up next to me and start conversations, then ask what it is. It's not a known car that they're expected to drool over, if you know what I mean.

I completed an ED delivery in September and I'm patiently waiting for the car to arrive. Based on when the carrier gets to port, I should have mine around 10/31. I can guarantee I'll be driving with the top down for at least a week or two.
