DCT Issue

Hello everyone,

A few days ago I experience a weird issue with my DCT and I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue or may know the cause. I had reversed my car into a parking spot and turned the ignition off while the transmission was in reverse. Once I came back to the car, I turned the ignition on and threw it in drive. As I was driving down the parking lot I started hearing this weird noise coming from my car as if one of the clutches was “dragging”. I stopped and put the car in neutral and back to drive to see if the car would fix itself but it did not work. I then put it in the reverse, reversed for about 3 ft and then put it back into drive and the car was fine. The car hasn’t had this issue since. I’ve had my m3 for about 5 years and it’s almost at 80k miles and hasn’t had anything break so far. Hopefully it stays that way for a while!
