Sorry for the stupid question but what's the difference / benefit of making the change?

Garage List
^^^^^^ This

It's just a more classy version of the standard touch controller, but looks great

Excellent seller - don't hesitate to buy from him

Quik shipping on my unit & it looks as if new - nice upgrade over the non ceramic version, adds a little more class - price was good too considering what these go for new from BMW

If I could find the ceramic radio/HVAC knobs available separately I would get them also to match

I actually consider new 7 series idrive controller. The base shape looks the same. Any thought?

I have received a number of questions about the idrive controllers asking to see photos of other units. So I took a pic of all the units I have. They are all guaranteed working.

Shipping cost:
Pickup -200$ cash
Shipped CA 9$
Shipped west coast and western states: $11
Shipped east coast 14$

Paying PayPal, no problem, I accept payment as gift and will honor that the unit gets there working and it's as pictured. Feel free to send money for goods and services but add the 4% fees after shipping i.e. east coast 214 + $9 =223.

Not trying to make money on shipping or fees but I have a number of people asking for these things, and they will sell eventually.

The pic:

There are used units but they are in great shape. Upon purchase I provide my cell number so you can get in touch with me if needed and I can text photos of the unit you will receive.

Thanks for reading!

Bump for a great seller and item!
I received mine in 2 business days. Took 15 minutes to install and it looks gorgeous, especially with carbon fiber trim.

Do you mind posting pics? I'm interested in seeing what this looks like installed on the CF trim.

Ok, here are some shots. Some taken halfway in my garage to minimize glare.

Yes, it's just a spec of lint. I wiped my smudges off with a towel and was in a rush to get to work when I took the pics. Didn't notice the lint till now. Thanks again, I'm very happy with how it looks!

super easy, get plastic panel poppers and if you do not have those use a credit card and your hands.
